This one was inspired by the
tune "Down At The Place To Be"; a red hot blues tune .... Created at the
beginning of and for the 2005 season. It fits since Autzen has become
widely recognized as "pound-for-pound" one of the loudest, hostile stadiums in
the country.
The Holiday Bowl loss
this year highlighted the fact we still had a ways to go to reach
the mountaintop. The Oklahoma game in 2006 at Autzen showed we
were getting closer....A controversial onside kick captured the
fancy of sports nation....a last second block of an Oklahoma field
goal attempt saved the victory.
